English Interpretation
All life of things is from water – The command of Allah Almighty is:
“And We made from water every living thing.”
Translation: (We gave life to every single thing from water)
Hazrat Ibn-e-Sirin (R.H) said: If someone sees in a dream that he is walking on the surface of water like the water of a river or canal – this indicates his pure belief and strength of faith.
And if clear and pleasant water is abundant, this indicates that he will have a long life and live comfortably.
And if he drinks dirty or salty water, its interpretation is opposite of the first.
And if he sees that he drinks clean and good water from a river, it indicates that he will become the king of the whole world.
And some say that depending on the amount of river water drunk, he will gain greatness and wealth.
If the water is pure and clean, and if dirty, then sorrow, hardship, fear, and terror will reach him.
Hazrat Ibrahim Kirmani (R.A) said: If one sees drinking hot water, it is a sign of illness and sorrow.
And if one sees that hot water is poured over him and he is unaware, it indicates he will become ill or face intense grief.
And if he falls into water, it means he will be trapped in grief and sorrow.
And if he lifts water in a cup, it means he will be infatuated with wealth and life.
And if he gives water to his wife in a glass cup (and glass cups are compared to women’s essence, and water in the glass to the child in the womb),
If the cup breaks, the wife will die and the child will remain.
If the water spills and the cup remains empty, it means the child will die and the wife will survive.
And if he sees giving water to people without reason, it means people will benefit from him in this world and the hereafter.
And he will populate deserted land.
And if in the dream he sees himself entering the house where water was spilled, it means he will be sorrowful and thoughtful.
And if he drinks clean water from a cup like a dog, it means he will live a life of luxury – but he will do something that will get him into trouble and trials,
And he will distribute his wealth little by little and spend in charity.
Hazrat Jabir Maghribi (R.A) said: If one sees water increasing in time, it indicates that there will be abundance of blessings in that year.
And if he sees water being absorbed into the ground, it means people will be safe and secure.
The command of Allah Almighty is:
“O earth, swallow your water, and O sky, withhold [your rain], and the water subsided.”
And if one sees water rising above people’s heads, it indicates that this year in that country will have blessings and abundance.
The command of Allah Almighty is:
“Indeed, We poured water in abundance.”
If he sees clear water in his house, it means he will receive blessings and comfort.
And if he sees dirty water standing in the house, its interpretation is opposite of the above.
Hazrat Daniyal (A.S) said: Watering gardens and fields through rivers and canals indicates freedom from grief and gain of wealth.
And giving water to people is a sign of religion, honesty, and good deeds.
And if one sees himself entering water and his body is strong at that time, it means he will be occupied in a hard task from a ruler,
And his words will be accepted in that task and other tasks.
And if he enters clean water and his body disappears in it, it is a sign of strength in faith, reliance on Allah, and firmness.
And if he sees water entering a garden, it is a sign of receiving a woman or a girl.
And if he sees clean water pouring over himself, it means benefit and goodness will reach him.
And if he sees dirty water poured over him, it indicates harm.
Hazrat Jafar Sadiq (R.A) said: The interpretation of entering water in a dream has five aspects:
1-Belief
2-Strength
3-Hard task
4-Trial
5-A task from the city’s leader

Tamam cheezon ke zindagi pani se hai – Farman-e-Haq Ta’ala hai وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ كُلَّ شَیْءٍ حَیٍّ
Tarjuma: (Hum ne har aik cheez ko pani se zinda kiya hai)
Hazrat Ibne Sirin R.H ne farmaya agar koi khwab dekhe ke wo satah aab par pani ki tarah chalta hai jaise darya aur nahar ka pani – ye is ke paak aiteqad aur quwwat-e-eemani ki daleel hai. Aur agar saaf aur khushgawaar pani bohot hai to ye daleel hai ke is ki umr daraz aur khush aish hoga. Aur agar gandla ya shor pani piya hai to is ki tabeer pehle ke khilaf hai – aur agar dekhe ke darya se saaf aur acha pani peeta hai to daleel hai ke tamam jahan ka badshah hoga. Aur ba’z kehte hain ke is aab darya ke peene ke qadr par buzurgi aur maal o naimat hasil karega. Agar pani musaffa aur saaf hai aur agar gandla hai to isko ranj aur sakhti aur khauf aur dehshat pohanchay gi.
Hazrat Ibrahim Kirmani Rahmatullah Ta’ala Alaih ne farmaya hai agar dekhe ke pani garam peeta hai to beemari aur ranj ki daleel hai. Aur agar dekhe ke is par pani garam giraya gaya hai aur isko khabar nahi hai to daleel hai ke beemar hoga ya is ko sakht gham pohanchay ga. Aur agar dekhe ke pani mai gira hai to daleel hai ke ranj o gham mai giraftar hoga. Aur agar paani piyale se uthaye to daleel hai ke maal aur zindagi par fareefta hoga. Aur agar kanch ke piyale mai apni aurat ko pani diya hai (aur kanch ke piyale ko auraton ke johar ke sath nisbat dete hain aur pani jo kanch ke piyale mai hai – is ko farzand ke sath nisbat dete hain jo maa ke pait mai hai). Agar piyala toota huwa hai to biwi maregi aur bacha rahega. Agar pani gira aur piyala khaali raha to daleel hai ke bacha marega aur aurat bach rahe gi. Aur agar dekha ke be-waja logon ko pani deta hai to daleel hai ke dunya aur aakhirat mai logon ko is se faida pohanchay ga. Aur weeraan jagah ko aabaad kare ga. Aur agar khwab me dekhe ke jis ghar mein pani giraya huwa tha is ke andar daakhil huwa hai to daleel hai ke ghamgeen aur mutafakkir hoga. Aur agar dekhe ke piyale ke saaf pani ko kutte ke tarah piya hai to daleel hai ke aish aur aishrat se zindagi guzare ga – lekin aesa kaam karega ke bala aur fitna mai parega aur maal ko thora thora kar ke logon ko bakhshe ga aur khairat mai kharch karega.
Hazrat Jabir Maghribi Rehmatullah Alaih ne farmaya hai ke agar pani ko waqt par zyada hote dekhe to daleel hai ke is saal mai naimat ki farakhi hogi. Aur agar pani dekhe ke zameen mai jazb ho jai to daleel hai ke aam logon ko salamati ki aafiyat hasil hogi.
Farman-e-Haq Ta’ala hai: وَقِيلَ يَـٰٓأَرْضُ ٱبْلَعِى مَآءَكِ وَيَـٰسَمَآءُ أَقْلِعِى وَغِيضَ ٱلْمَآءُ
Tarjuma: Aur kaha gaya ke ae zameen! apna pani ko nigal ja, aur ae asmaan! bas kar, aur pani gehraai mai gaya.
Aur agar dekhe ke pani logon ki siron par charhta jata hai to daleel hai ke is saal is mulk mai naimat aur farakhi hogi.
Farman-e-Haq Ta’ala hai: اَنَّا صَبَبْنَا ٱلْمَآءَ صَبًّۭا (Hum ne pani ko khoob achi tarah giraya)
Agar dekhe ke is ke ghar mai saaf pani hai to daleel hai ke naimat aur khush aishi payega. Aur agar dekhe ke ghar mai gandla pani khara hai to phir is ke taweel pehle ke khilaf hai.
Hazrat Daniyal A.S ne farmaya hai ke baag aur zaraat ko daryaon aur nehron se pani dena gham aur andoh se khulasi aur maal ki daleel hai. Aur logon ko pani dena deen aur dayanat aur neek kaamon ki daleel hai. Aur agar dekhe ke pani mai jata hai aur is waqt is ka jism mazboot hai to daleel hai ke haakim ki taraf se kisi sakht kaam mai mashghool hoga aur is ka qoul is ke kaam mai aur doosre kaamon mai maqbool hoga. Aur agar saaf pani mai jaye aur is ka jism chhup jaye to quwwat-e-deen aur tawakkul bar Khuda aur istiqamat ki daleel hai. Aur agar dekhe ke pani baag mai jata hai to aurat ya ladki milne ki daleel hai. Aur agar apne opar saaf pani ko girata dekhe to daleel hai ke is se khair o manfa’at pohanchay gi. Aur agar dekhe ke is par gandla pani giraya gaya hai to is se nuqsan pane ki daleel hai.
Hazrat Jafar Sadiq R.H ne farmaya hai ke khwab ke andar pani mein jaane ke tabeer paanch wajah par batate hain:
Awal: yaqeen
Dom: quwwat
Som: mushkil kaam
Chaharum: musibat
Panjam: raees-e-shahar ki taraf se koi kaam
تمام چیزوں کی زندگی پانی سے ہے۔ فرمانِ حق تعالیٰ ہے:
وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ الْمَاءِ كُلَّ شَیْءٍ حَیٍّ
ترجمہ: (ہم نے ہر ایک چیز کو پانی سے زندہ کیا ہے)
حضرت ابن سیرین رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے فرمایا اگر کوئی خواب دیکھے کہ وہ سطح آب پر پانی کی طرح چلتا ہے جیسے دریا اور نہر کا پانی – یہ اس کے پاک اعتقاد اور قوتِ ایمانی کی دلیل ہے۔
اور اگر صاف اور خوشگوار پانی بہت ہے تو یہ دلیل ہے کہ اس کی عمر دراز اور خوش عیش ہوگا۔
اور اگر گندلا یا شور پانی پیا ہے تو اس کی تعبیر پہلے کے خلاف ہے۔
اور اگر دیکھے کہ دریا سے صاف اور اچھا پانی پیتا ہے تو دلیل ہے کہ تمام جہاں کا بادشاہ ہوگا۔
اور بعض کہتے ہیں کہ اس آبِ دریا کے پینے کے قدر پر بزرگی اور مال و نعمت حاصل کرے گا۔
اگر پانی مصفا اور صاف ہے، اور اگر گندلا ہے تو اس کو رنج اور سختی اور خوف اور دہشت پہنچے گی۔
حضرت ابراہیم کرمانی رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ نے فرمایا ہے: اگر دیکھے کہ پانی گرم پیتا ہے تو بیماری اور رنج کی دلیل ہے۔
اور اگر دیکھے کہ اس پر پانی گرم گرایا گیا ہے اور اس کو خبر نہیں ہے تو دلیل ہے کہ بیمار ہوگا یا اس کو سخت غم پہنچے گا۔
اور اگر دیکھے کہ پانی میں گرا ہے تو دلیل ہے کہ رنج و غم میں گرفتار ہوگا۔
اور اگر پانی پیالے سے اٹھائے تو دلیل ہے کہ مال اور زندگی پر فریفتہ ہوگا۔
اور اگر کانچ کے پیالے میں اپنی عورت کو پانی دیا ہے (اور کانچ کے پیالے کو عورتوں کے جوہر کے ساتھ نسبت دیتے ہیں اور پانی جو کانچ کے پیالے میں ہے – اس کو فرزند کے ساتھ نسبت دیتے ہیں جو ماں کے پیٹ میں ہے)۔
اگر پیالہ ٹوٹا ہوا ہے تو بیوی مرے گی اور بچہ رہے گا۔
اگر پانی گرا اور پیالہ خالی رہا تو دلیل ہے کہ بچہ مرے گا اور عورت بچ رہے گی۔
اور اگر دیکھے کہ بلاوجہ لوگوں کو پانی دیتا ہے تو دلیل ہے کہ دنیا اور آخرت میں لوگوں کو اس سے فائدہ پہنچے گا۔
اور ویران جگہ کو آباد کرے گا۔
اور اگر خواب میں دیکھے کہ جس گھر میں پانی گرایا ہوا تھا اس کے اندر داخل ہوا ہے تو دلیل ہے کہ غمگین اور متفکر ہوگا۔
اور اگر دیکھے کہ پیالے کے صاف پانی کو کتے کی طرح پیا ہے تو دلیل ہے کہ عیش اور عشرت سے زندگی گزارے گا – لیکن ایسا کام کرے گا کہ بلا اور فتنہ میں پڑے گا،
اور مال کو تھوڑا تھوڑا کر کے لوگوں کو بخشے گا اور خیرات میں خرچ کرے گا۔
حضرت جابر مغربی رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے فرمایا ہے کہ اگر پانی کو وقت پر زیادہ ہوتے دیکھے تو دلیل ہے کہ اس سال میں نعمت کی فراخی ہوگی۔
اور اگر پانی دیکھے کہ زمین میں جذب ہو جائے تو دلیل ہے کہ عام لوگوں کو سلامتی کی عافیت حاصل ہوگی۔
فرمانِ حق تعالیٰ ہے:
وَقِيلَ يَـٰٓأَرْضُ ٱبْلَعِى مَآءَكِ وَيَـٰسَمَآءُ أَقْلِعِى وَغِيضَ ٱلْمَآءُ
ترجمہ: اور کہا گیا: اے زمین! اپنا پانی نگل جا، اور اے آسمان! بس کر، اور پانی گہرائی میں گیا۔
اور اگر دیکھے کہ پانی لوگوں کی سروں پر چڑھتا جاتا ہے تو دلیل ہے کہ اس سال اس ملک میں نعمت اور فراخی ہوگی۔
فرمانِ حق تعالیٰ ہے:
اَنَّا صَبَبْنَا ٱلْمَآءَ صَبًّۭا
(ہم نے پانی کو خوب اچھی طرح برسایا)
اگر دیکھے کہ اس کے گھر میں صاف پانی ہے تو دلیل ہے کہ نعمت اور خوش عیشی پائے گا۔
اور اگر دیکھے کہ گھر میں گندلا پانی کھڑا ہے تو پھر اس کی تاویل پہلے کے خلاف ہے۔
حضرت دانیال علیہ السلام نے فرمایا ہے کہ باغ اور زراعت کو دریاؤں اور نہروں سے پانی دینا غم اور اندوہ سے خلاصی اور مال کی دلیل ہے۔
اور لوگوں کو پانی دینا دین اور دیانت اور نیک کاموں کی دلیل ہے۔
اور اگر دیکھے کہ پانی میں جاتا ہے اور اس وقت اس کا جسم مضبوط ہے تو دلیل ہے کہ حاکم کی طرف سے کسی سخت کام میں مشغول ہوگا،
اور اس کا قول اس کے کام میں اور دوسرے کاموں میں مقبول ہوگا۔
اور اگر صاف پانی میں جائے اور اس کا جسم چھپ جائے تو قوتِ دین، توکل بر خدا اور استقامت کی دلیل ہے۔
اور اگر دیکھے کہ پانی باغ میں جاتا ہے تو عورت یا لڑکی ملنے کی دلیل ہے۔
اور اگر اپنے اوپر صاف پانی کو گرتا دیکھے تو دلیل ہے کہ اس سے خیر و منفعت پہنچے گی۔
اور اگر دیکھے کہ اس پر گندلا پانی گرایا گیا ہے تو اس سے نقصان پانی کی دلیل ہے۔
حضرت جعفر صادق رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے فرمایا ہے کہ خواب کے اندر پانی میں جانے کی تعبیر پانچ وجہ پر ہے:
اوّل: یقین
دوم: قوت
سوم: مشکل کام
چہارم: مصیبت
پنجم: رئیس شہر کی طرف سے کوئی کام
